Rory McIlroy will participate in his first golf event since checking in 47th with a backup driver at the PGA Championship when the PGA Tour descends on TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley (North Course) for the RBC Canadian Open.

McIlroy was caught trying to use a "non conforming" driver ahead of the second major of the season and was forced to use a backup en route to that disappointing finish. The two-time RBC Canadian Open winner has kept radio silence with the press since the news came to light, but the controversy hasn't stopped bettors from making McIlroy the favorite here.

Let's take a look at the live odds at TPC Toronto from June 5-8, 2025.

2025 RBC Canadian Open odds

2025 RBC Canadian Open field

There's a sizable gap from Rory McIlroy (+450 at FanDuel) to second-choice Ludvig Aberg (+1400) in the Canadian Open betting. Aberg was a respectable 16th at The Memorial Tournament after missing the cut at the PGA Tournament.

Canadian Corey Conners (+2000) is unsurprisingly a popular pick this week. He finished 19th in the PGA and 26th in the Memorial.

Robert Macintyre (+2800) is much shorter than he was last year when he stunned the field at 80-1. His T-6 at the Charles Schwab Challenge two weeks ago was tied for his best performance of the year.
