Scottish Open sleeper predictions

Sleeper pick to win: Matt Fitzpatrick
+4500 at DraftKings

Matt Fitzpatrick is quietly rounding into form with two Top 10s and another two Top 25s over his past six starts. He’s gained true strokes across the board during that stretch, including ranking 18th in this field tee-to-green and 29th in putting.

The Englishman also has a strong track record at the Renaissance Club, finishing T2 in 2021 and T6 in 2022. Fitzpatrick’s last win came at the Alfred Dunhill Links in October 2023, and with 10 worldwide titles to his name, his form and course history have win No. 11 in play this week.

Sleeper pick to win: Harris English
+7000 at FanDuel

Harris English enters the week on a steady run with 10 straight made cuts, gaining true strokes in every category during that span. He ranks 18th in this field in tee-to-green play and 16th in putting, and returns to the Renaissance Club for the third time following a solid T34 last year, where he also gained strokes across all five metrics.

English also ranks 26th on the PGA Tour in adjusted scoring average, which reinforces his ability to show well at tougher tracks. With a win at the Farmers earlier this year, plus a T2 at the PGA Championship and T4 at the Travelers, he brings plenty of value at this number.

Sleeper pick to win: Thomas Detry
+10000 at bet365

Thomas Detry heads to the Renaissance Club for the seventh straight year and boasts a pair of standout finishes — a T2 in 2021 and T10 in 2022 — already on the resume. He’s also gained true strokes on approach in all six of his previous trips to the track.

The Belgian picked up his first PGA Tour win earlier this season and has flashed on both tours when his well-rounded game is firing on all cylinders. The stats won’t jump off the page, but at this price, his course history alone warrants an addition to your betting card.
