Defending champion Patrick Bertoletti (+1200), who ate 58 hot dogs and buns last year, is the second choice. Bertoletti is the odds-on favorite (-115) in the betting market that does not include Chestnut.
The over/under on "Total Hot Dogs Eaten" by Chestnut is 71.5 (-105 over, -125 under). In his last three contests, Chestnut has eaten 62 dogs and buns in 2023, 63 in 2022, and 76 in 2021.
On the women's side, defending champion Miki Sudo returns. Her over/under on "Total Hot Dogs Eaten" is 46.5 (-120 over, -110 under).
Each contestant gets 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs and buns as possible.
