The Brewers were red-hot at the dish entering the All-Star break, and I'm expecting that to continue in the second half of the season. That's why my MLB picks are betting on a run to be scored in the first inning of their clash against the hard-hitting Dodgers on Friday night.
Here are my best NRFI bets and YRFI bets for July 18.

NRFI/YRFI bets for July 18
Angels at Phillies: YRFI (Play at Thrillzz)
The Los Angeles Angels have been producing at the dish lately. They are sixth in the majors in OPS over the last month (.785), and they now have the highest run first inning rate in the bigs (37.5%).
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Phillies are fifth in the majors in OPS at home (.783) while plating a run in the opening frame in 39.1% of their games at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies will have Jesus Luzardo on the mound, but he has looked shaky over the last couple of months.
The Halos have yet to announce a starter but it probably won't matter, given the state of their rotation. It will likely be Jose Soriano, who has an xERA of 4.05 and is in the Bottom 10th percentile in hard-hit rate and exit velocity, while sitting in the Bottom 10th percentile in walk rate.

Cardinals at Diamondbacks: YRFI (Play at Thrillzz)
The St. Louis Cardinals will send struggling righty Andre Pallante (4.93 ERA in his last 15 starts) to the hill for tonight's showdown with the Arizona Diamondbacks. The D-Backs are third in the majors in OPS (.772) and seventh in run first inning rate (32%).
That said, Arizona could also have issues conceding runs since Brandon Pfaadt will toe the rubber. The righty is near the bottom of the majors in expected ERA (6.20), expected batting average (.306), and average exit velocity.

Brewers at Dodgers: YRFI (Play at Thrillzz)
The Milwaukee Brewers offense caught on fire before the break. They lead the majors in batting average (.285) while averaging 6.28 runs per game over the last 30 days.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Dodgers lead the majors in OPS at home (.832) by a wide margin, and they plate a run in the first inning in 40% of their contests in L.A. Brewers starter Quinn Priester has struggled in the opening frame, pitching to a 4.38 ERA with an OBA of .306.
The brisk 10 mph winds blowing towards the outfield gives me even more faith in these offenses tonight.

❓What are NRFI and YRFI bets❓
NRFI (No Run First Inning) and YRFI (Yes Run First Inning) bets add a thrilling twist to the start of an MLB game. A NRFI bet is a wager that no runs will be scored in the first inning. You're betting that the starting pitchers for both teams will get through the first inning without allowing any runs, whether by striking out batters, inducing ground balls, or through solid defensive play.
A YRFI bet is the exact opposite. You're betting that at least one run will be scored in the first inning. In this case, you’re hoping for an early offensive burst such as a leadoff walk, a timely hit, or even a home run.
NRFI and YRFI bets add excitement to the early part of a game and offer immediate gratification for bettors looking for a quick resolution.
