The Arizona Diamondbacks have been an offensive juggernaut at home, where they plate a run in the first inning at the highest rate in the majors.

Tonight, they host the San Francisco Giants, who have also been swinging hot bats, and I’m expecting early scoring in this NL West clash.

Here are my best free YRFI and NRFI bets for Tuesday, September 16.

NRFI/YRFI bets for September 16

Padres at Mets: YRFI (Play at Thrillzz)

Both the New York Mets and San Diego Padres have been productive at the plate and that combined with a pair of starters due for regression has me taking the YRFI bet in their clash tonight.

Mets righty Clay Holmes has pitched to a 3.75 ERA but his xERA is significantly worse at 4.45.

Meanwhile, Padres starter Michael King has a 2.87 ERA but his xERA is 3.61 and he has a 3.63 ERA away from the pitcher-friendly confines of Petco Park.

The Mets have been crushing the ball lately, ranking second in the majors in OPS (.827) while plating 5.77 runs per game over the last 30 days. San Diego is eighth in the majors in OPS (.742) since the All-Star break.

Reds at Cardinals: NRFI (Play at Thrillzz)

The Cincinnati Reds are sending All-Star Andrew Abbott to the hill for tonight's clash against the St. Louis Cardinals. Abbott has pitched to a sparkling 2.79 ERA with an OBA of .228 through 26 starts.

The southpaw should blow through a Cards lineup that is last in the majors in OPS (.652) and runs per game (3.78) since the All-Star break.

Meanwhile, the Reds have struggled at the dish away from home. They sit 23rd in the majors in OPS on the road (.692) while ranking 27th in run first inning percentage (23.4%).

Giants at Diamondbacks: YRFI (Play at Thrillzz)

The San Francisco Giants haven't announced their starter for tonight, but we know it won't be Robbie Ray, Logan Webb, or Justin Verlander — the only competent arms in their rotation.

They'll likely go with an opener who will have his hands full on the road against a strong Arizona Diamondbacks lineup. The D-Backs lead the majors in run-first inning percentage at home (46.6%), while also sporting the fourth-best OPS at home (.782).

San Francisco tends to hit better on the road and has been raking lately, ranking fifth in the majors in OPS (.782) while plating 5.65 runs per game over the last 30 days. The Giants should get to Arizona lefty Eduardo Rodriguez, who owns a 4.98 ERA with an OBA of .285 through 26 starts.
