Giants vs Dodgers best bet: Shohei Ohtani Over 1.5 total bases (-110)
If Shohei Ohtani wasn’t already a shoo-in for his second straight National League MVP award, he certainly is now.
The Los Angeles Dodgers superstar is batting .344 in September while boasting a team-leading 46 total bases, and he’s been even hotter this past week.
Ohtani recorded two doubles in last night’s series opener and has now gone Over 1.5 total bases in four straight games. He’s also gone yard three times over that span.
San Francisco Giants starter Robbie Ray was initially having a decent season, but the wheels have fallen off over the last few weeks. The left-hander owns a massive 7.83 ERA over his last five starts, having surrendered 4+ earned runs in three of his last four appearances.
Giants vs Dodgers same-game parlay (SGP)
Mookie Betts is just 1-for-11 over his last three games, but the Dodgers outfielder was on a heater earlier this month. His 19 RBI in September are the most in the majors, and he’ll get back on track against a struggling Ray.
The Dodgers are 5-1 in their last six meetings against the Giants and should make relatively easy work of a San Fran team that looks poised to miss the postseason for the fourth straight year.
