The New York Liberty go for their fourth straight win tonight as they take on an Indiana Fever team that continues to be hampered by Caitlin Clark’s rough injury luck.

My Fever vs. Liberty predictions expect the hosts’ dynamic backcourt to lead the way here at Barclays Center.

Check out my WNBA picks for this July 22 matchup.

Fever vs Liberty predictions

My Fever vs Liberty best bet: Natasha Cloud Over 14.5 points + assists (-114 FanDuel)

While Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart are the headline acts, Natasha Cloud hasn’t looked out of place sharing that stage in her first season with the New York Liberty.

Her presence has been felt in New York’s 15-6 start, and I like this Cloud combo prop for tonight’s clash with the Indiana Fever.

Rather than hounding Caitlin Clark, who remains out, Cloud should be able to focus on her offense here, and this 14.5 O/U line feels too low given her role at the controls for the Liberty.

Cloud has cashed this Over in four of her last six contests, including last week’s victory over the Fever, where she poured in 14 points to go with three assists.

New York shot a stunning 58% that night, and a repeat performance is on the cards, despite Jonquel Jones’ ongoing absence.

That all bodes well for Cloud. She’s shooting 42% from the field – on pace for her best mark since 2018 – and she’s finished with double-digit points in five of her past six outings.

She’s also the Liberty’s No. 1 setup option, with six assists per game, so don’t be surprised if she gets halfway to the total in dimes alone.

As the WNBA returns from the All-Star break, look for Cloud to make a fast start and grab her share of the spotlight at Barclays Center.

Will Caitlin Clark play?

No, Clark remains out with a groin injury.

Fever vs Liberty same-game parlay (SGP)

Natasha Cloud Over 14.5 points + assists

Sabrina Ionescu Over 3.5 rebounds

Under 163.5

Ionescu’s rollercoaster shooting numbers make me nervous to roll the dice on her points prop, so I’m targeting the Over on her rebounds prop, building on the buzz of a successful All-Star Weekend.

Sabrina is averaging 4.4 RPG this year, and she’s grabbed 4+ boards in seven of her last 10 contests.

The Under feels like a value play here too, as Indiana tries to patch together points without its offensive engine, plus the impact of the post-All-Star rust. It’s also been a winning ticket in four of New York’s last five matchups.
