We have a busy betting slate in the Majors today, but I am focused on the series finale between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Minnesota Twins.

Bo Bichette has been swinging a hot bat, and my Blue Jays predictions expect him to come around to score against a Twins team struggling to limit Toronto’s offense.

Find out why in my free MLB picks for this June 8 matchup.

Blue Jays predictions for June 8

Today’s Blue Jays best bet: Go Bo go

Bo Bichette Over 0.5 runs (+125 at BetVictor)

The Toronto Blue Jays hope to complete the series sweep tonight, but they'll need a big afternoon from the bats with Bowden Francis struggling to limit runs.

Luckily, the Jays have been baseball’s hottest offense over the past 10 games with a league-best 152 WRC+, and a team OPS of .896.

One of the more consistent hitters is Bo Bichette, who has a .969 OPS in that stretch. Even more encouraging is the return of his raw power, with seven extra-base hits and four homers in his last 10 outings.

In addition to Bo’s ability to get on base and in scoring position, his teammates are hitting the ball well behind him. The Jays are averaging 6.6 runs per game over the last 10, with a .302 batting average.

As for the pitching matchup, the Minnesota Twins are sending RHP Joe Ryan to the hill. He’s had a solid year with a 6-2 record and a 2.91 ERA; however, his expected ERA is 3.26.

Furthermore, Bichette is hitting .280 against RHP, with 23 of his 26 extra base hits coming off righties. Ryan gives up a lot of hard contact, ranking in the 33rd percentile in exit velocity, with hitters averaging 93.1 mph hits off of him.

I’m banking on Bichette’s power to shine through for extra bases, whether a homer or a double, and then i expect the guys batting behind him to bring him home as Guerrero (.289), Barger (.343), Springer (.257), and Kirk (.407) are all hitting for average and have combined for 32 RBI over the Jays’ last 10 games.

Today’s Blue Jays same-game parlay (SGP)

Bo Bichette Over 0.5 runs

Alejandro Kirk 1+ single

Addison Barger 2+ total bases

For the first leg of our SGP, we will stick with the best bet and take Over 0.5 runs for Bo Bichette.

Next up for my same-game parlay, we’ll continue to back the red-hot Jays bats and take Addison Barger to go Over 1.5 total bases. Twins starter, Ryan, gives up hard contacts, and Barger can crush the baseball with an .829 slugging percentage.

Alejandro Kirk is hitting .400 over his last 13 games, with 87.5% of those hits being singles. He’s singled in 19 of his last 28 games played since May 1.
