All 30 MLB teams are in action today, with the first pitch of the day between the Rays and Yankees going just after 1 p.m. ET.

Aaron Judge has been on a heater through the first month of the season, and he features in my favorite MLB player props for Saturday, May 3, while I’m also looking for Alex Bregman to notch another multi-base performance and Hunter Brown to shut down the lowly White Sox.

Best MLB player props today

  • TEAM Judge 3+ hits + runs + RBI (-115)
  • TEAM Brown u1.5 earned runs (-110)
  • TEAM Bregman o1.5 total bases (-120)

MLB props for May 3

Aaron Judge 3+ hits + runs + RBI (-115 at bet365)

It’s hard to go wrong betting on Aaron Judge, especially in today’s matchup. The New York Yankees slugger enters Saturday on a 12-game hit streak and will look to do damage against a struggling Tampa Bay Rays starter in Zack Littell.

Judge recorded a double, a triple, and scored a run in New York’s series-opening win against Tampa Bay on Friday and has posted 3+ hits + runs + RBI in six straight outings. However, the first month of the season has not been as kind to Littell, who owns a 1-5 record and a 5.03 ERA through his first six starts.

According to Baseball Savant, the Rays starter ranks among the Bottom 20th percentile in most key categories, including xERA, xBA, fastball velocity, and hard-hit percentage.

Judge leads the MLB with 52 hits and a mind-blowing .430 batting average, so he should have no trouble getting to Littell.

Hunter Brown Under 1.5 earned runs (-110 at bet365)

Has there been a bigger comeback story over the past year than Hunter BrownLast spring, Brown looked like he didn’t belong anywhere near the MLB, but since last May, the right-hander has been one of the best pitchers in the majors. Among starters with at least 100 innings pitched over the previous year, Brown ranks third in ERA (2.25).

The 26-year-old has been even better this season, boasting a stingy 1.22 ERA to go with a 0.84 WHIP while holding batters to just a .187 average. Brown threw three straight scoreless starts in April and gave up just one run over six innings in his most recent outing last Sunday.

The Chicago White Sox rank 24th in the MLB in runs per game (3.63) and tied for 23rd in runs through the first five innings (2.00). We should see Brown continue to dominate with another low-scoring start vs. some feeble White Sox bats.

Alex Bregman Over 1.5 total bases (-120 at bet365)

The Boston Red Sox cruised to an easy 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins on Friday as Alex Bregman stayed hot with a home run and a double to rack up six total bases.

The third baseman has recorded at least two bases in four straight games and a total of 18 bases over that span, and I like his matchup against Bailey Ober this afternoon. Bregman has looked rejuvenated in his first season with the Red Sox as he ranks tied for second among all players in the major leagues with 44 hits, third in total bases (75), third in slugging percentage (.609), and sixth in batting average (.331).

Ober has allowed just one earned run in four of his last five starts, but the right-hander has been giving out hits like candy. He’s allowed eight hits in three of six starts this season, including each of his last two appearances.

The right-handed batting Bregman has also been surprisingly good against righties. He boasts a .343 average and a .657 slugging percentage against right-handed pitchers compared to a .259/.296 split against southpaws.
