With a seven-game losing streak and fresh concerns about Joel Embiid’s knee, this is getting close to rock bottom territory for the Philadelphia 76ers, and we could see a depleted line-up on the floor tonight against the Chicago Bulls.
Both Embiid and Tyrese Maxey are on the injury report, so my Bulls vs 76ers predictions look to the visitors with a wager on one of Chicago’s most reliable stat-stuffers.

My best bet
Josh Giddey Over 23.5 points + rebounds (-115 at bet365)
My analysis
There’s really no way to sugarcoat the Chicago Bulls’ six-game skid, but we’re at least seeing a little more of the young talent on the roster. Though this is Josh Giddey’s fourth NBA season, he’s very much part of the Chicago youth movement, and I expect another all-action performance against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Giddey was two rebounds short of a triple-double on Saturday, and I’m taking the Over on his points + rebounds tonight. That’s partly driven by the extra shot volume available since the Zach LaVine trade and partly a reflection of how dispirited Philadelphia has looked lately.
With the freedom to play in his unique style, Giddey has responded with some eye-catching stat lines this month. He’s averaging 19.1 points per game in February, including 51 total points across his last two outings, and that’s a big jump from a measly 10.1 PPG in January.
The 3-ball has been a big part of that surge, with Giddey shooting 49% from deep in his past eight, and he should feast tonight if the 76ers have to rejig their rotation yet again.
He also continues to be an elite rebounder for his position, as he showed with a 16-board effort against the New York Knicks last week. The Aussie finished with 10 rebounds against Philly back in January, and I like the upside of bringing his work on the glass into this prop.
Neither team is going anywhere fast, but Chicago can point to Giddey’s growth as a valuable takeaway from this season — and I see him staying hot tonight.

The Bulls are coming off narrow losses to the Knicks and Phoenix Suns, covering the spread in both contests, and there’s enough talent to keep the score close tonight, especially with Philadelphia likely to be missing key players. Given all the attention on Joel Embiid’s knee, it would be a shock if he suits up here.
So I’m taking the points in this spot, with the 76ers dropping nine of their past 10 games and sitting at 20-36 ATS for the season.
I’m rounding out my SGP with the Over on the Kelly Oubre Jr. points prop. He’s capable of soaking up minutes and shots for Nick Nurse, and he scored 22 points against Chicago in the last meeting.
Oubre has struggled from downtown this month, but he still went for 30 points against the Brooklyn Nets last week. With the Bulls’ defensive limitations — they’re allowing the second-most PPG in the NBA — this is a favorable matchup for the 76ers’ wings.
