Tyrese Haliburton’s legendary postseason run continued on Thursday as he delivered yet another clutch performance late in the game.
Unfortunately for fans of Haliburton and the Pacers, I expect the Thunder to dominate Game 2.
After handicapping Tyrese Haliburton's odds, I have NBA picks and an SGP centered around Indy's hero for June 8.

Tyrese Haliburton best bet
Under 16.5 points (-110 at bet365)
The Indiana Pacers' point guard finished Game 1 with just 14 points on 6-for-13 shooting and 2 of 7 from beyond the arc, but he hit the most important shot of the game.
Aside from hitting another iconic shot, his offensive performance was mediocre at best. That’s been the story of his scoring performances against the Oklahoma City Thunder in recent meetings.
In three games against the Thunder this season, he scored 14, 18, and four points, shooting 45.2% from the field and 33.3% from beyond the arc.
Haliburton has averaged 13.9 field goal attempts, 7.6 three-point attempts, and 3.1 free throw attempts this year, but in three games vs. OKC, he’s attempted just 10.3 FGs, six triples, and 0.7 FTs.
Hali’s scoring is down against the Thunder: Not so much because of a drop in efficiency, but more because of his lack of attempts. OKC’s swarming defense has made it difficult for him to get up shots, and one-on-one attention from Lu Dort has certainly not helped matters.
Across his last five matchups with the Thunder, Haliburton has gone Under 16.5 points three times. I expect a big bounce-back performance from the Thunder in Game 2, which means fewer shot opportunities and even fewer quality looks for Indiana's PG.
Tyrese Haliburton same-game parlay
Haliburton’s assists line is set at 8.5, and the Over comes with plus-money odds. Haliburton has produced double-digit assists in four of his last seven, and he’s reached nine or more assists in 10 of 17 playoff appearances.
I’m much more comfortable taking the alt line here, as this game could get out of hand quickly. Hali has averaged 9.5 dimes in the 2025 playoffs and reached seven assists 12 times.
He’s reached that mark in three of his last five against OKC across the last two seasons, and he finished just one assist shy in Game 1. Expect some positive regression as a facilitator in Game 2, especially as he gets hounded by the Thunder defense.
The Over on this rebound line is an easy selection, as Haliburton has averaged a healthy 5.9 boards during his historic playoff run. He’s corralled at least five boards in 12 of 17 games, including 10 in Game 1.
The Thunder have allowed the most rebounds per game of any team in the playoffs, and Haliburton should have no problem hitting the Over here.
