During my freshman year of college, I started to take betting much more seriously and turned It from a hobby to a passion. Increasing my bankroll and unit size way more than I should have at the time, I got off to a hot start in the NHL season. After this hot start, there was a weeknight with an eight-game slate. Feeling invincible at the time, I threw down an eight-team moneyline parlay in an attempt to accurately nail the entire board. At 85/1, all eight teams I picked won. The rush of those two last West Coast games to close out the parlay was unlike anything I had felt in my life.

Best Betting Memory

Hockey fans will remember one of the craziest games in recent playoff memory. In 2019, It was Game 7 of the first-round matchup between the Vegas Golden Knights and the San Jose Sharks. Vegas was up 3-0 halfway through the third period, and in my mind, my Vegas ML ticket was already cashed at that point as they had the outstanding Marc-Andre Fleury in net with a big lead. However, a highly questionable five-minute major penalty was assessed against Vegas and the Sharks scored four goals in a four-minute span! To make It even worse, Vegas tied the game back up with under a minute left to force OT, giving me hope once again only to lose in sudden death thanks to a game-winner from Barclay Goodrow.
