A new week of MLB action gets underway on May 12 with 11 games on the schedule, which means no shortage of options in the MLB player props markets.
I’ve dug through the MLB odds to bring you my three favorite for today, including what looks like great value for Kyle Tucker's RBI prop.
Best MLB player props today

MLB props for May 12
Kyle Tucker Over 0.5 RBIs (+143 at Caesars)
With this much value, I couldn't possibly go without adding it to my MLB picks.
Kyle Tucker is the engine that makes this Chicago Cubs offensive machine go. The All-Star outfielder enters tonight’s matchup against the floundering Miami Marlins with a .269 batting average, a .910 OPS, 10 home runs, and 32 RBI.
Tonight, he faces off against Cal Quantrill, and it has been tough sledding for the 30-year-old righty. Quantrill owns a 5.82 expected ERA while surrendering a .306 expected batting average to opponents — both rank in the Bottom 10% among MLB pitchers. He also isn’t striking out many batters with a 15.7% K-rate, which ranks in the 12th percentile.
It will be hard for Quantrill to get a guy out with the bat-to-ball skills that Tucker has.
And in fact, it has been hard. While it’s not a huge sample size, Tucker has three hits in four plate appearances vs. Quantrill, which includes a dinger.
Christian Walker Over 1.5 Total Bases (+112 at Caesars)
It looks like Christian Walker is pulling himself out of his early-season slump, and he’ll have a shot to stay hot when the Houston Astros host the Kansas City Royals tonight.
Walker entered May hitting just .196 with a .632 OPS, but he’s found his timing at the plate and finds himself on a seven-game hitting streak. The Astros' first baseman is hitting .385 with a .952 OPS, which includes a couple of extra-base hits and six RBI.
So, not only has Walker found his rhythm, but he gets a matchup he’s very comfortable with when he digs into the batter’s box against Michael Wacha.
The veteran RHP is having a solid season with a 2.98 ERA, but he could be due for a little regression soon, as his xERA sits at 3.76 while surrendering a .257 xBA. Those both rank around league average.
On top of that, Walker has had Wacha’s number over the course of their careers. Walker has tallied five knocks in eight plate appearances vs. Wacha, including two doubles and a dinger.
With Walker going Over 1.5 total bases 12 times in his last 20 games, including the last three in a row, there is value in him to do it again.
Jorge Soler Under 0.5 Hits (+104 at Caesars)
It looks like it will be another long year for the Los Angeles Angels, who now travel down the coast to take on Michael King and the San Diego Padres.
It just feels like they never make the right moves. This year, they brought in former World Series MVP Jorge Soler in hopes of filling some of the void left by Shohei Ohtani a season earlier.
But the 33-year-old slugger has always had a big hole in his swing, and has never hit for average. Those things all ring true in 2025.
Soler enters tonight’s game with a .233 average, a .731 OPS, six home runs, and 16 RBI. He ranks in the 21st percentile in xBA and the 16th percentile in strikeout rate. He won’t be happy to see King on the mound.
The right hander has been great for the Padres this season, ranking in the 82nd percentile in xERA, 86th percentile in xBA, and the 77th percentile in K-rate.
He also owns Soler. These two have faced off 11 times during their careers, and Soler doesn’t have a hit with four strikeouts. The Angels' batter has gone hitless in four of his last eight games, and at this price, I like him to make it five of nine.
