Our best Dolphins vs Bills SGP for Week 3
This SGP is anchored by my belief that James Cook will be an integral part of the Buffalo Bills' offensive gameplan.
Opposing running backs have had their way with the Miami Dolphins in terms of catching passing out of the backfield this year. The Fins have allowed 146 total receiving yards to the RB position — the third-worst mark in the NFL through two weeks of play.
Miami is allowing massive chunk plays on these passes. The Colts and Patriots combined for 11 completions to backs on 11 targets for an average of 13.2 yards per catch, so Cook is highly capable of hitting the Over in one go.
Cook caught all five of his targets to compile 58 yards vs. the Ravens in Week 1, and has also passed this mark in four straight vs. the Fins.
Points will come easily for the Bills, and I expect the Dolphins to contribute to the scoring as well. The Bills' defense is anything but elite right now, as they currently rank dead-last in yards allowed per rush at 6.8.
The Fins are tied for fourth in the corresponding offensive category, so look for them to lean on De'Von Achane to take some pressure off Tua Tagovailoa.
