The last time the Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles clashed, it was a bitter January afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field.

The snowy conditions for that NFC Divisional Round matchup couldn’t have been further from the California sun, but it couldn’t cool down Philadelphia running back Saquon Barkley.

He burned L.A. for 232 yards of offense, including 27 receiving yards, and my Rams vs. Eagles predictions expect Barkley to have an impact through the air in this Week 3 rematch.

Here are my best NFL picks for Sunday, September 21.

Rams vs Eagles prediction

Rams vs Eagles Best bet: Saquon Barkley Over 16.5 receiving yards (-114)

Saquon Barkley caught all four passes his way for 27 yards in the NFC Divisional Round. So far in 2025, he’s seen his share of routes, especially in the Philadelphia Eagles' win over Dallas in Week 1.

Philadelphia couldn’t get Barkley going how it liked in that opener (just 3.3 yards per carry), so it found other ways to put the ball in his hands. He was targeted five times for four receptions and 24 yards.

Barkley blasted the Los Angeles Rams for more than 200 yards on the ground in the playoffs, but he's set to face a healthy L.A. defense this time around, and one that will be ready for the run.

Through two weeks, L.A.’s defense ranks No. 2 in both EPA allowed and opponent success rate overall, also rating No. 3 in opponent success rate per handoff.

Los Angeles has been able to get great pass pressure with just the front four, allowing the linebackers to spy and fill those rushing gaps. If Barkley has trouble finding his footing as a ball carrier, expect the Eagles to work him in as a receiver.

Before the playoff matchups with Los Angeles in January, these foes clashed in Week 12. The Eagles jumped on Barkley’s back, with the RB rumbling for 255 yards but adding 47 receiving yards on 4-for-4 receiving.

Projections for Barkley this Sunday range from 17 to 22.4 receiving yards versus the Rams.

Rams vs Eagles same-game parlay

Los Angeles will sell out to stop Saquon on the ground, but he’ll get his gains through the air.

The “Tush Push” is still alive, and Jalen Hurts is always a threat inside the red zone.

Kyren Williams will get plenty of run as the Rams try to take the heat off Matthew Stafford.
