The Seattle Mariners have been putting up runs for fun in their first two meetings against the Detroit Tigers and they’ll look to close out the series with a sweep this afternoon.

Cal Raleigh has six RBI in the first two games of the series, and the MLB’s home run leader will be the focus of my best bet in my Mariners vs. Tigers MLB picks and predictions for Sunday, July 13.

Mariners vs Tigers prediction

My Mariners vs Tigers best bet: Cal Raleigh Over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBIs  (-120 at Caesars)

After rolling to a 12-3 victory on Friday, the Seattle Mariners ran up the score again on Saturday with a 15-7 win against the Detroit Tigers as seven different players recorded an RBI.

Cal Raleigh was one of those seven players, and I’m expecting him to have another productive afternoon with over 1.5 hits, runs, and RBIs. Our EV model is calling this prop a five-star play.

The Mariners catcher is batting just .135 this month after hitting .300 or better in both May and June, but he’s shown signs of turning it around in this series. Raleigh had two home runs in Friday’s series opener and should be able to do some damage against Tigers starter Jack Flaherty today.

Flaherty owns a 4.70 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP this season but owns a massive 8.51 ERA over his last five outings so I like Raleigh’s chances of having another productive day at the dish.

Caesars QuickPick: Our Mariners vs Tigers same-game parlay (SGP)

Cal Raleigh 1+ RBI

Mariners -1.5

Over 9

The Mariners have outscored the Tigers 27-10 so far in this series and should have the pitching edge again today with Logan Gilbert going up against Flaherty, so I think the visitors pull off the sweep.

Both Seattle and Detroit are averaging over 4.5 runs per game so I think we also see another high-scoring contest with Over 9 runs. The Mariners have hit that mark in five straight while the Tigers have done so in three straight and four of their last six.
