The Golden State Valkyries play host to the Las Vegas Aces in Saturday’s matinee, and the home team will look to get back on track after four straight losses. Las Vegas has won four of five and covered in two straight, so it’s no surprise the visitors are heavy favorites.
Despite the disparity in talent, the Valkyries have shown grit and tenacity through the early goings of the 2025 campaign, and I’m hesitant to spot a road team double-digit points. I’m staying away from the spread and the point total today, and taking the Aces on the moneyline provides no value, even rolled into a three-leg parlay.

Jewell Loyd should be riding high after an emotional performance against her former team on Sunday. The veteran guard hit a pair of clutch free throws with six seconds remaining to push the Las Vegas Aces’ lead to five and effectively seal the victory for her team.
I’m not looking at Loyd’s work from the charity stripe here. I’m after her three-pointers.
Loyd knocked down a pair of triples in Sunday’s win over the Seattle Storm, and she hit multiple three-pointers in a game for the fourth time in her last five games. On the season, Loyd is averaging 2.5 three-pointers per game, the second-highest mark of her career. She’s knocking them down at a career-best 41.7% mark.
The Golden State Valkyries have struggled to contain outside shooters this season, and Golden State allows the third-highest three-point percentage to opponents at 38.5%. The Valkyries are one of only two teams (Chicago Sky) to allow opponents to average 10 or more triples.
Loyd’s 10.2 points per game are the fewest of her career, and she’s settling in with the Aces as a long-range specialist across 29.3 minutes per tilt. Her new role, elite efficiency, and quality matchup set her up nicely to cash this modest 3-pointers line today on the road.

Chelsea Gray is enjoying another productive season with the Aces, and through the first six games of the 2025 campaign, her scoring and assist numbers are up from last year. This season, she’s averaging 19.9 PRA behind 12.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
She posted exactly 19 PRA in the season-opener, but she’s gone for 20 or more in four of her last five. Shockingly, the Over on her combo line comes in at even money, making it a value to add to our parlay.
Janelle Salaun is off to a great start to her WNBA career, as the French rookie leads Golden State in rebounds per game at 6.2. That average factors in her zero-board performance against the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday, in which she logged just 22 minutes.
In four games prior, she hauled in 8.3 boards per game and hit the Over on this line twice. Las Vegas allows the second-most rebounds per game, and the Valkyries’ leading rebounder is in line for a bounce-back performance on the glass here.
