Veronica Burton Over 10.5 points (-125 bet365)
The Golden State Valkyries have dropped four games in a row after a promising first week, but Veronica Burton continues to provide quality guard minutes for the 2025 expansion team.
Stepping into starter minutes for the first time in her career, Burton is averaging 12.6 PPG this year, up from just 3.1 PPG in 2024, and she’s hit top gear over the past two contests – 16 points against the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday and 21 points, with three triples, in last weekend’s loss to the Minnesota Lynx.
That makes this 10.5 points prop O/U glaringly low. Burton has jacked up 9+ field goal attempts in three of her past four outings and, despite being a streaky shooter, she finds herself in a prominent offensive role given Golden State’s shortage of proven bucket-getters.
The Las Vegas Aces will present matchup challenges for the Valkyries this afternoon, especially with A’ja Wilson prowling in the paint, but there should be enough volume for Burton to nail this Over.
Courtney Vandersloot Over 21.5 points + rebounds + assists (+100 FanDuel)
Back with the Chicago Sky after two years in New York, Courtney Vandersloot hasn’t missed a beat through her first six games – and I see her stuffing the box score again tonight against the Caitlin Clark-less Indiana Fever.
Vandersloot has been on a tear lately, piling up 27 assists through her past three outings and putting together five straight games with double-digit points. It’s a level of playmaking that Chicago desperately needs to support its talented frontcourt.
With the arrow pointing upwards, this combo prop offers great value today. Vandersloot has gone past this 21.5 number in each of her last three contests, including a 15-7-7 line against the Dallas Wings last weekend. In short, most possessions flow through her in some way.
While she’s only shooting 22% from 3-point range, Vandersloot is consistently creating good looks in the paint, and there should be cracks to exploit in an Indiana defense that’s allowed 83+ points in three of its last four games.
Nneka Ogwumike Over 25.5 points + rebounds (-122 FanDuel)
The Seattle Storm can climb back above .500 with a win tonight – and they’re getting a helping hand from the Phoenix Mercury’s lengthy injury list.
With Alyssa Thomas and Kahleah Copper among the recent Phoenix absentees, it’s a nice spot to target Seattle props, and I expect Nneka Ogwumike to lead the charge for the Storm.
Ogwumike has been a consistent contributor on the glass, averaging 9 RPG this year, but her shooting hasn’t quite kept pace, particularly from downtown, where she’s making her triples at just a 32% clip.
Still, this is an ideal matchup to reignite her offense. She poured in 24 points against the Mercury back on May 23, and I’m banking on the veteran to creep past her 16.5 PPG average here.
A depleted Phoenix rotation gave up 77 points to the offensively limited Golden State Valkyries last time out, and Ogwumike is well placed to cruise to this combo Over.
