New York flattened Washington inside CareFirst Arena on May 30 and now heads back to the nation’s capital as 12.5-point road chalk after closing as 8.5-point faves in D.C. last Friday.

Breanna Stewart was limited to 25 minutes in the 22-point win over the Washington Mystics last week, with the team looking to save all the gas it could amid a schedule crunch.
That matchup with the Mystics was the second of back-to-back outings for the New York Liberty and part of a “four games in six days” slog. The Liberty wrapped up that jam with a win in Connecticut on Sunday, giving the team a much-needed rest before this return trip to D.C. on Thursday.
In those 25 minutes versus the Mystics, Stewie scored only 10 points on 3-for-10 shooting but dished out seven assists to go along with three rebounds. She followed up that effort with 13 points, five assists, and three boards in only 23 minutes during another beatdown of the Sun.
She’s recorded four or more assists in each of the past three games, fueling a Liberty offense that tops the league in assist-to-field goal ratio (21.4%). New York retooled its scheme this offseason, with coach Sandy Brondello installing a “positionless” offense. Stewart is embracing that fluidity, thriving as a playmaking forward in the past three outings.

Game models show 32 minutes from the multi-time MVP, with those projections sitting between 3.5 and 3.6 assists and rebounding forecasts ranging from 5.7 and 6.5 boards.
Washington has a packed frontcourt and defends the interior well, giving up the third-fewest points in the paint to start the season. Stewart’s perimeter chops can draw bigger defenders away from the basket and make the 6-foot-4 forward a conduit for playmaking.
I expect Stewart to dish out at least four dimes and wrangle three or more rebounds, combining these markets in an SGP. Some books have this combo paying only +102, but you can get +135 for this same game parlay at bet365.
